As of now, The Guns of Shadow Valley Kickstarter is fully funded! We raised $24,000 in 3 days, which is pretty amazing. We’re stunned at how fast that happened, and incredibly grateful to everyone who pledged, and everyone who helped us spread the word. Thank you!
What this means for us is that The Guns of Shadow Valley will rise again. We’ll get to finish what we started here, and you all get to see the webcomic come back. More on that later.
But it’s not over yet! We still have 27 days to go, so there’s plenty of opportunity to pre-order the book and get some of the other exclusives we have available.
To help us keep climbing, we’ve announced the first set of Stretch Goals for the Kickstarter campaign. Starting with some fun stuff: when we reach $28,000: a sticker, 30,000: a bookmark, and 35,000: a new art print, all custom designed.
First up are the stickers. There are 6 Wanted poster designs, each for a different character. One random sticker will be included with every book order over $30. The sticker design looks like this:

So head on over to the Kickstarter campaign to get yours, and please help us spread the word. We’d be much obliged!

We have launched a new Kickstarter campaign and we need YOU!
With your help, we’ll finish the comic and print a big, beautiful hardcover edition. This is also a chance to get your hands on some original art by Dave and some other cool extras. Please stop by the page and check it out.
We appreciate your support!

As you may have noticed, there hasn’t been a new page in quite some time. For that, I apologize. Especially since we’re right in the middle of a chapter, I know it’s bad timing, but it can’t be helped. I’ve been really busy on a project that is a lot of work and tight deadlines. I’ve had to put everything else on hold while I work. I can’t give any kind of definitive date as to when the next page will be ready. It may be a while. Sorry, folks. -Dave

We’ve been nominated for a 2011 Harvey Award in the category of Best Online Comics Work! This is quite an honor to be nominated and we humbly stand alongside some of the best creators and work in the business today.
A bit about the Harveys, from their site:
The Harvey Awards are one of the comic book industry’s oldest and most respected awards. The Harveys recognize outstanding achievements in over 20 categories, ranging from Best Artist to the Jack Kirby Hall of Fame. They are the only industry awards both nominated by and selected by the full body of comic book professionals.
A big, heartfelt thanks to everyone who submitted us for nomination. This is an extraordinary thrill. If you are a comic professional, I really hope you consider us when filling out your awards ballot!

A heads up for anyone who is looking for a new page today, I’ve been incredibly busy this month and I’m afraid that there won’t be a new page ready until next week. I’m very sorry for this delay.
