You can see all my pics from the show on my flickr account. Read the rest of this entry »

We just received a favorable review of the preview edition over at PDX Comic Geek. They had brief yet very nice things to say about the book.

needle

I’ll be at the Emerald City Comicon in Seattle April 4-5. I’ll be selling copies of the The Guns of Shadow Valley preview edition, Tell Them Johnny Wadd is Here, the Scar Tissue trade paperback, art prints, and more. I’ll also be accepting a limited number of sketch commission requests to be completed at the show. If you’re attending the convention, be sure to stop by table K-9 in Artist Alley!

Guns nominated for Best of 2008!

The Guns of Shadow Valley convention preview edition was nominated for the Comic Geek Speak Best of 2008, in the category of ‘Best Single Issue!’ This is a tremendous and completely unexpected honor. The hosts of the popular CGS podcast each nominated a title in 25 categories with one more title listed for the top listeners’ choice. CGS founder Bryan Deemer nominated our little book saying, in part: “I’m telling you, that thing is awesome. I put it down and immediately wanted to read more…” Many thanks to Bryan and the rest of the CGS crew for this wonderful recognition!

If your a CGS listener, check out the full nomination list and send in your vote!
