Windy City Comicon Report

Monday, November 3rd, 2008 by citizenDave

Last, last weekend, (yes way back then) I exhibited at the first annual Windy City Comicon. Organized by my buddies from the Around Comics podcast: Brion Salazar and Chris Neseman, the goal was to bring a comic convention back within the city boarders and have it focus on, get this, COMICS! It was a bit of an ordeal for me to attend the show. I had just moved away from Chicago just the weekend before, to my new place in Cincinnati. Once everything was in the new apartment(I’ve got too much stuff. A 17ft truck worth and then some!) I unpacked the computer and drawing table first so I could knock out the sketch pre-orders.

I’ll be at the Emerald City Comicon in Seattle April 4-5. I’ll be selling copies of the The Guns of Shadow Valley preview edition, Tell Them Johnny Wadd is Here, the Scar Tissue trade paperback, art prints, and more. I’ll also be accepting a limited number of sketch commission requests to be completed at the show. If you’re attending the convention, be sure to stop by table K-9 in Artist Alley!

Wednesday, June 24th, 2009 by citizenDave

It’s Tuesday as I write this, I got home after a long drive last night, the con has been over for two days, but I’m still feeling it’s affects. This was my first venture to Charlotte and the Heroes Convention. I had heard many great things about this show, my expectations were high, and I was not disappointed. This is a really great show. You can see all my pics from the show on my flickr account. (more…)

Come see us in San Diego!

Monday, July 20th, 2009 by James Andrew Clark

If you’re going to San Diego Comic Con and want to get a jump-start on the webcomic, stop by the Dial R Studios booth #2306 and pick up your copy of the Convention Preview Edition book. It has the first 17.5 pages of the comic and some exclusive bonus material, and it’s only $2.

I’ll also have copies of the trade paperback of our other title Scar Tissue, and my new music CD which has a cover illustrated by Dave.

I hope to see you there!
