Yow! I was kinda liking jovial Mr Dumont, but that was when I thought he was burning a bush to communicate, not burning out a human being!
And the whole page, as always, is awesome! But I really like that inset panel of the Colonel gritting his teeth as he utters his single reluctant word. Though reluctant isn’t quite the right word – he obviously loathes Dumont but outraged isn’t quite it either. Maybe there isn’t a word for it…

Ha! I love the fact that he was using a human.

Another great page… So, Mr Dumont is a railroad tycoon with stange powers?

Thank goodness for FB posts to remind me of the new page every Tuesday! I had forgotten it even WAS Tuesday at this point. Thanks for getting a page out even after a long holiday weekend!

He killed a blind guy!Well at least he never saw it coming! (Ba-dum-Chee)
@AlpineBob
I think grudgingly is the right word.

Jeebus! He inhabited and then burned out a guy’s body? That’s fucked.

Burning bush = cool
Burning human = rat bastard
Really good job setting up a villain!

Damn Sacrificing someone to send them a message… Still it fits with what we have seen from him of late…
Now we get to see what is happening back with the rail crew!

oi. Somethings wrong with the guy he possessed. Somebody check the lost and found for his eyes. And his soul.

Creeeeeeeeeeepy – I love it.

So would this fall under the auspices of killing the messenger?
September 9th, 2010 at 2:36 am
Wow, didn’t see that one coming.

Maybe the colonel ain’t so bad after all, just misguided.

Maybe the bush/blue guy used to be a soldier?
