Chapter 3 Page 13
San Diego Comic-Con International takes place this week, starting on Wednesday night and going through Sunday. If you’re one of the hundreds of thousands of people who are going this year, please stop by the Dial R Studios booth (#1804/1806) and say hi. We’ll have some of our preview books available, as well as a bunch of other neat books we’ve worked on. And if you happen to be around on Friday night of the show, stop by the Eisner awards ceremony where the winner of the Best Digital Comic award will be announced.
Hope to see you there!

The emotions of the faces really captures their concerns.

Oh no! I’m at the end already?! I just read all of these from the beginning in one sitting and want more!! :>
Seriously this is great work. I am interesting in knowing more about all the characters and that is a testament to great storytelling. Awesome awesome job.

Kid just needs an aspirin and a shot of whiskey. Nice dialog Doc, a breath away from a ginormous mongoloid. Nice sign of the times there. Nice detail on the Doc’s office. Can really feel the dim lighting too.

The look on Pearl’s face in panel two shows more about her than anything we’ve seen before.
The emotion in this room almost makes me forget what these people are capable of.

Thanks for the compliments on the page and good thoughts about the Eisners! I know it’s a longshot for us, but I’m still hopeful. As long as my plane lands on time Friday, I’ll be happy.
And yes, ol’ Doc Dixon is a man of his times.

Yes, that “titanic Celestial” has a naturally weaker constitution. It only stands to reason! So Doc must be sitting down…

I just read this whole thing in one sitting, as well.
This is style in piles.
